Junior Surveyor / Geomatics Technologist Western Canada
who has recently graduated or is on track to graduate this academic year from a Geomatics, Surveying, or related technical program and has a desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.
The Work:
- Support surveying on various project sites throughout Western Canada
- Assist with field data collection using GNSS, total stations, scanners, and drone-based survey
- Willing and able to travel, as shift work may last up to 21 days
- Work is outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
- Follow CORE safety protocols and contribute to a strong safety culture
- Prepare clear, accurate field notes, sketches, and digital records
What you bring to the table:
- Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to CORE
- Desire for excellence in all that you do
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to liaise with clients
- Curiosity and creativity in solving problems and adapting to new tasks
- Recently graduated, or on track to graduate this academic year, from a Geomatics, Surveying, GIS, or related technical program
- Ability to work safely, effectively, and collaboratively in a field crew environment
- Valid drivers licence
