They work with multinational banks, acquirers and financial gurus to push the boundary of payment processing beyond the concepts of traditional Fintech.We are looking for a Technical Lead to guide our payments team which operates systems responsible for processing all our company-wide credit card transactions. </p><p><strong>What you&#39;ll be doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Build, scale and help lead our engineering team</li><li>Maintain lots of moving pieces </li><li>Evaluate details and integrate new technologies and systems</li><li>Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack</li><li>Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes</li></ul><p><strong>What you&#39;ll need to be successful:</strong></p><p><strong>Must haves:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree in computer science or relevant work experience</li><li>8-10 years experience in development </li><li>2+ years experience in lead role or in a senior role and ready for the next step </li><li>Very familiar with <span >PHP/Laravel/Lumen/MySQL</span> experience</li><li>Self-driven but team conscientious, desires perfection but is willing evolve in steps to get there, methodical and is not afraid to learn/make mistakes, willing to share and teach and when all fails, likes to get things done</li></ul><p><strong>Nice Haves:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree in computer science </li><li>Hand on experience with Docker development environments</li><li>Domain Driven Design</li><li>System monitoring and high-availability systems </li><li>Knowledge of SOA or Microservice Based Architectures</li><li>Knowledge of Symphony / Docker / Memcache / Redis / Elasticsearch</li><li>Can breathe GIT, strong embracing of good programming principles</li><li>Hands on experience towards the different layers of <span >caching/storage/utilization</span> of queues</li><li>Experience in a high volume environment</li><li>API Development experience</li><li>Ads / Marketing platform experience</li></ul></p></p></p>
