<b>Executive Legal Assistant – Business Law</b><b><br></b><b>Strategic Role Supporting a Sector Leader | Montréal – Hybrid, 3 Days/Week</b><br>

Strategic position for an experienced legal assistant within the business law sector. You will support a high-level sector leader in a dynamic and well-recognized environment. Competitive salary, flexibility, generous benefits, and advanced Excel proficiency required.<br>

<b>Responsibilities:</b><b><br></b>
<br>
<br>• Format, proofread, and finalize legal and administrative documents.<br>
<br>• Manage calendar, calls, emails, travel arrangements, and meetings.<br>
<br>• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and materials for conferences.<br>
<br>• Open new files, file and archive documents.<br>
<br>• Handle monthly billing, accounts receivable, and time entries.<br>
<br>• Prepare expense accounts, cheque requests, and trust transfers.<br>
<br>• Coordinate logistics for sector meetings (rooms, meals, AV, invitations).<br>
<br>• Assist in organizing internal and external committee meetings.<br>
<br>• Collaborate with students, interns, and assistants from other departments as needed.<br>
<br>
<b>What you will need to succeed:<br></b>
<br>
<br>• Diploma in Legal Secretarial Studies or equivalent.<br>
<br>• 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a private law firm.<br>
<br>• Bilingual in French and English to support clients in both languages.<br>
<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br>
<br>• Proficiency in office software, particularly Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.<br>
<br>• Intermediate to advanced level in Excel.<br>
<br>• Strong knowledge of legal procedures and practices.<br>
<br>• Initiative and ability to work independently.<br>
<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>
<br>• Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently.<br>
<br>• Team spirit and professionalism.<br>
