Position Summary
We are seeking a responsible and skilled Production Operator to oversee the continuous production line of PIR insulation panels. The candidate must ensure high-quality output, operational efficiency, and strict adherence to safety standards. The role involves equipment setup, process control, and monitoring of critical production parameters while supporting preventive maintenance and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
Your key Competencies
➢ Operate and monitor the insulated metal panel production line to ensure consistent, high-quality product.
➢ Adjust and optimize foaming, laminating, and curing processes, controlling line speed, temperature, and line pressure.
➢ Perform cutting, trimming, stacking, packaging, and in-line quality inspections for thickness, density, adhesion, and surface integrity.
➢ Maintaining the routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
➢ Maintain a clean, organized workspace while upholding safety standards, quality protocols, and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
➢ Minimum high school diploma, with technical certification will be preferred.
➢ Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in the foam industry, will be considered an asset.
➢ Demonstrates a positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude.
➢ Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.
➢ Strong proficiency in English, with excellent writing and reporting skills.
Key Requirements
➢ Canadian safety tickets, including WHMIS, First Aid & CPR, are required.
➢ The position requires standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms. The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 50lb.
➢ Must be able to work 12-hour continental shifts
➢ CSA-approved Safety shoes are a must.
