Summary:
A global manufacturer in Maple Ridge is looking for machine operators and join our growing team. Tsubaki is undertaking a significant modernization, by adding CNC equipment, to improve our manufacturing capabilities in British Columbia. The facility is in the Ruskin area of Maple Ridge BC.

$22.00 to $26.00/hr. depending on experience.
8-hour shift Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with and have experience operating manual lathes, mills, saws, drills, and other support equipment. We are open to hiring and training a person with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Forklift use and the ability to complete a crane certification course are also necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathes and mills. Familiarity with Mastercam is also a great quality to have, although we will train someone who meets our basic needs. We are expanding and modernizing our facility, this is a great opportunity to improve your skills and experience. All years of apprentices will also be considered for this role.

We will train you to:

  • Read and interpret drawings.
  • Set up and operate a manual lathe.
  • Set up and operate a manual vertical mill.
  • Set up and operate horizontal and vertical bandsaws.
  • Inspect parts to confirm the quality.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Operate overhead jib and gantry crane.
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written.
  • Clean and organized.

Ideal Skills:

  • Operating manual lathe and mill.
  • Set up CNC lathe and mill.
  • Operate CNC lathe and mill.
