MATRIX is seeking Maintenance Warehouse Assistants on a rotational basis for projects across Canada in some of the most remote locations.

Due to the remote access to the job sites, resourcefulness will be a key aspect to the success of this role. You are team oriented, motivated, and have an acute eye for detail, accuracy, and excellent skill with prioritizing tasks. This position reports to the Camp Manager.



This position is fully remote, in camp.

Camp location is subject to change.

Life as a Remote Maintenance Warehouse Assistant are as follows:

  • Remote work
  • Assist setting up a new maintenance parts warehouse
  • Camp locations vary across Canada, including extreme arctic climate regions
  • Support Camp Manager on additional duties outside of your position when needed
  • Participate in daily Toolbox meetings
  • Team player and provide hands-on support

  • Requirements:

  • Warehouse knowledge (inventory) required
  • Level 1 First Aid Certification or equivalent 2-day course required
  • Forklift/Skidsteer/Telehandler would be an asset
  • Physically demanding job. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Proficient computer skills. MS Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, Office 365)
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and a desire to help your team succeed.
  • Qualifications or proficiency with the following:

  • Previous experience working in a remote camp setting
