Our client is searching for a Manager, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) to join their People and Culture team. The Manager, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion is an advisor especially for the Vancouver and Calgary offices to advance and embed EDI throughout the firm’s processes, practices and policies. This role partners with internal stakeholders, especially in Communications, Talent Advisory, and Recruitment and our Action Committees in activating and amplifying EDI externally and throughout our offices as part of a cohesive national EDI, People and Culture Strategy.

Summary of Key Responsibilities: Together with Action Committees and Firm working groups, leads in developing and executing annual EDI programming and events that promote broader Firm engagement and EDI education Manager and main advisor to Firm’s Action Committees and affinity groups, including overseeing annual planning and programming budget Works with National Director, EDI, People & Culture, to develop and implement EDI strategy, best practices and to measure firm progress Partners with Communications and Recruitment in building EDI brand, outreach and visibility aligned to national EDI, People & Culture strategy including updating online and social media presence and completing external benchmarking surveys related to EDI Oversees general EDI and culture communications targeted to firm members, including reviewing and updating related content in newsletters and intranet Partners with Talent and HR teams to embed EDI in our talent processes Contributes to and participates in relevant committees across the firm to embed EDI at earliest stages of planning Oversees external partnerships related to EDI Core Experience and Skill: Completed education in a relevant field A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in developing and implementing HR or EDI strategy Experience in leading and developing communications and employee engagement initiatives, ideally in EDI Experience in analyzing data and developing data-driven solutions Experience in providing advice or coaching in EDI and/or HR Strong experience in communications, including writing and delivering reports and presentations Strong ability to work with and collaborate with leaders and internal stakeholders Strong organizational and time management skills Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize Excellent multi-tasking skills Ability to work independently, set own priorities while maintaining flexibility A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Availability to work overtime, when necessary The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 – $150,000, depending on level of experience, region/location, and other factors.
