Aston Carter’s large retail client is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to join their team on a permanent basis.
Qualifications
- Accounting Designation – CPA, ACCA, ACA, CGA, CMA, CFA
- 5+ years experience in FP&A as a Manager or Lead
- Advanced proficiency with Power BI
- EPM, Oracle or SAP ERP Experience
This individual will lead the annual budget process for operating expenses, along with the quarterly reforecast process for corporate SG&A. They will partner closely with various teams and leaders across the business to lead strategic analysis, performance reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting to inform business decisions and drive outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the annual budgeting process for corporate operating expenses
- Leading the quarterly reforecast process, including overseeing loads of planning software
- Leading the development of actionable management reporting, financial modelling, dashboards, KPIs and overseeing financial performance for Corporate FP&A
- Leading cost control and financial management of operating expenses
- Partnering closely with all corporate functions to support strategic planning by owning the required financial modelling and analysis
- Serving as a key business partner working directly with top management leaders to provide business recommendations in regards to strategic planning, scenario modeling and supporting the development of business cases and new business units
- Coaching and mentoring analysts across the FP&A team on budgeting, reporting, FP&A processes, and forecasting to drive the continued improvement of our FP&A function
- Supporting with the preparation of business performance review and strategic planning presentations for Leadership
- Identifying tools and initiatives to improve our FP&A data and processes
- Assisting with design and maintenance of the accounting, budgeting, and reporting systems
