Position Summary
Atura Power is seeking a strategic and analytical leader to join our Finance & IT group as Manager, Revenue Management & Analytics. This role is pivotal in driving revenue optimization across our Electricity and Clean Fuels portfolio.
Reporting to the Director, Finance & IT, the Manager will oversee revenue management activities, lead commercial performance reporting and advanced analytics to support data-driven decision-making and enhance our commercial strategy.
In addition to team leadership, this role requires strong cross-functional engagement with the Energy Markets and Commercial Operations Group.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Forecast and Planning
- Lead the development and refinement of revenue budgets, multi-year forecasts, and earnings projections across all assets
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of financial models and forecasting tools to support commercial planning
Revenue Management
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for gas, power, and clean fuels transactions
- Monitor market rate changes, contract escalations, and emissions tracking to ensure compliance and financial accuracy
- Maintain oversight of invoicing documentation, and regulatory reporting requirements
Performance Reporting & Analytics
- Drive the development of performance reports and commercial dashboards to highlight key issues and opportunities
- Lead the design of analytical tools and reporting frameworks to enhance business insights
- Provide strategic insights through financial modeling and market analysis to support commercial decision-making
- Guide the team in preparing consolidated financial data, variance analysis, and monthly reporting packages for leadership
Credit & Risk Management
- Oversee customer credit exposure and payment compliance, ensuring effective reconciliation and dispute resolution
Compliance
- Ensure timely preparation of CFF, GHG and other regulatory compliance reports
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Required Qualifications
Education & Certifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
Experience
- 510 years of experience in financial analysis, market analytics, revenue management, or energy sector roles
- Experience with budget modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Exposure to energy trading, settlements, or power market operations preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities; proficiency in data visualization tools is an asset
- Familiarity with energy trading/risk management systems is an advantage
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
