Lundin Mining Corporation
The Manager, Tax will be responsible for various tax compliance requirements and related projects at Lundin Mining, including preparing corporate tax returns, information returns, and quarterly tax provisions, as well as conducting ad hoc research and coordinating projects. The Manager, Tax will also assist in performing select treasury functions.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions, including analysis of deferred taxesPreparation of Canadian and US corporate income tax returns and information returns including Forms T106, T1134, T1135, and CbCRCorresponding with the tax authorities including preparing responses to audit requestsDocumenting intercompany transactions including loans and other paymentsUpdating transfer pricing documentationCalculating the surplus balances of Lundin Mining’s subsidiariesResearching relevant tax issues affecting Lundin MiningPerforming ad hoc tax related duties or special projects as assignedAssisting with the treasury functionRequired Skills & Experience:Minimum 5 years of tax experience at an accounting firmBachelor’s degree in finance or accountingProfessional accounting designation (CPA)Completion of CICA In-depth Tax Program or Master’s in TaxationStrong computer skills including detailed knowledge of Excel and TaxPrepExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasksCapable of working independently and as part of a team with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detailAbout Lundin Mining:Lundin Mining is a diversified Canadian base metals mining company with operations in Brazil, Chile, Portugal, Sweden and the United States of America, primarily producing copper, zinc, gold and nickel.
