Managing Broker Job Description Your New Role Join our rapidly expanding independent brokerage, at the forefront of innovation, active in BC, and looking to expand to other regions. We seek a broker with an entrepreneurial spirit and the determination to contribute to our growth and success.

Responsibilities Role Overview: Play a key role in establishing how we distinguish ourselves from competitors. Client Relationships: Maintain positive relationships with clients and property owners, ensuring compliance with new regulations. Regulatory Compliance: Keep the brokerage informed of regulatory changes and ensure continued compliance.

Team Education: Support and train your team as they work towards licensing or maintaining good standing. Trust Accounts Management: Manage trust accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations. In-Office Position: Full-time role based in the office, with potential travel requirements.

Documentation: Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines, and maintain clear and concise notes and files. What You Need to Succeed Experience: Minimum of 2 years of managing brokerage experience within a firm handling a minimum of $10M in rentals. Licensing: Valid managing broker licence.

Skills: Excellent communication, strong time management, entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, growth mindset, and a positive attitude. Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with smartphones, relevant computer applications, and necessary software. Knowledge: Proficient in RESA, REA, FINTRAC, and all regulations pertaining to real estate law, with extensive experience working with BCFSA.
