We’re currently looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our dynamic MarCom team.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Marketing Automation Specialist will act as a marketing CRM guru and the master of personalized communications for United Way’s core audiences. As part of our Marketing, Communications, and Content team, but with deep integration with the Digital Transformation department, this role is critical to the organization’s ongoing evolution and modernization. If you are passionate about your community, aspire to make an impact, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make a difference, then we’re looking for you What you will do Collaborate with implementation partners and external consultants in the deployment and customization of SalesForce Marketing Cloud.

Ideate user-centric journeys in partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing Director, and use your essential technical knowledge to position their value for the rest of the organization. Develop and deploy approved user journeys through SalesForce Marketing Cloud. Consulting with the Manager, Data and Automation, identify opportunities for enhanced connectivity between transactional user data and marketing data.

Working with the Content Marketing Lead, identify opportunities for dynamic content blocks and establish a process for their creation and maintenance. Working with the Digital Content Coordinator, create connections between SalesForce Marketing Cloud and United Way’s social media management tool. Working with Marketing, Communications, and Content team leads, integrate workflows between United Way’s project management tool and SalesForce Marketing Cloud.

Design and present regular reporting on the performance of email, journey, and personalized tactics. Develop and deploy marketing emails. Act as a subject matter expert, facilitating enhanced working styles for team members by identifying opportunities where marketing automation can simplify or enhance their work.

Bring a consistent lens of best practice to all marketing activities, and stay abreast of new technologies and marketing trends. What you will bring Experience: 3 years of experience in digital marketing 2 years of experience working directly in marketing automation platforms such as SalesForce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or Marketo Experience developing and deploying personalized and segmented email marketing Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field Experience with SalesForce Philanthropy Cloud is considered an asset Attributes: Familiarity with common marketing coding languages, namely HTML and CSS Understanding of MarTech as a concept and a deep familiarity with user data Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite United, we make the biggest difference United Way is a not-for-profit organization that has played a vital role in our community for over 80 years.
