Job Description

<p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment</p></li><li><p>Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions</p></li><li><p>Conduct inspections and testing to ensure proper functioning of machinery</p></li><li><p>Work with hydraulic systems and components</p></li><li><p>Perform electrical repairs and automotive wiring</p></li><li><p>Work with both gas and diesel engines and components</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems</p></li><li><p>Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections</p></li><li><p>Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area</p></li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li><p>Proven experience as a mechanic or similar role</p></li><li><p>Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude</p></li><li><p>Strong electrical and wiring skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to work on hydraulic systems (not necessary but considered an asset)</p></li><li><p>Ability to work on various water pumps (not necessary but considered an asset)</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with power tools and hand tools</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with computers and diagnostic software</p></li><li><p>Excellent problem-solving skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p></li><li><p>Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions</p></li><li><p>Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as needed</p></li></ul><p>-Holds a class 3 or class 1 driver's licence with air brake endorsement (not necessary but considered an asset)</p><ul><li><p>Must be willing to work in all weather conditions as needed</p></li><li><p>May require travel to perform off-site repairs as needed from time to time</p></li></ul><p>Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
