Position Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer or Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in building mechanical systems — including HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression design — and/or commercial pool system design. You’ll play an integral role in the design, coordination, and delivery of projects from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities :

Design and layout of mechanical building systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
·
Prepare detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT.
·
Perform load calculations, equipment selections, and system sizing.
·
Coordinate with clients, architects, other consultants, and contractors.
·
Participate in site visits and field reviews.
·
Manage multiple projects and deadlines with a high level of organization.
Qualifications :
·
Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design for buildings or commercial pools.
·
Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience considered an asset).
·
Strong understanding of BC Building Code and relevant mechanical standards.
·
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·
Positive, professional attitude and a collaborative mindset.
