Job Description

Exceptional Mechanical Engineers serving the private and public sectors should be aware of an excellent opening in London ON. The ideal Mechanical Engineer should be well versed in AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel as well as HVAC and plumbing systems across Commercial, Institutional and Industrial projects in Ontario.

Compensation

$80,000 - $120,000 annually to start based on experience and training, including:

Schedule

Day Shift, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (M-Th); 8:00 am to 2:30 pm Fridays. Flexibility will be granted to those who need it so long as job functions are upheld. Overtime is paid.

Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a Canadian University
  • Professional Engineer Status recognized by the Government of Canada.
  • Previous Mechanic Engineering experience specifically with HVAC and Plumbing
  • Coordinating with Design & Project Leads to develop and troubleshoot conceptual designs, briefs, drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct equipment design cost analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, permits and safety standards.
  • Guide projects to be on-time, within budget and meeting progress goals.
  • Support Construction Services Team and Project Lead: review reports, conduct inspections, provide feedback, guiding compliance to initial plans.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, vendors, clients, contractors, manufacturers, etc. as required.
