Your Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright , you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our production lines, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Your Day-to-Day
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on all production, batching, and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems related to production, utilities, and HVAC.
- Weld and fabricate using MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques.
- Conduct root cause analysis on equipment or system failures.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, and layouts .
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols , especially when working with hazardous materials or energy sources.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records .
- Perform other duties as required to support operations.
Your Profile
- Valid Millwright Certification (433A)
- 3 years of experience as Millwright in the food industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Proven analytical and decision-making skills
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
- Experience in industrial maintenance , ideally within the food manufacturing industry
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn and share knowledge
