Millwright
Full-Time | Permanent | Unionized
Compensation: $43.50/hour + $2.00 overnight premium
Shift: Night Shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM OR 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Flexibility required for Sunday–Thursday or Monday–Friday schedules
Location: Burlington, ON
Training: 2 weeks on day shift (7:00 AM start)
Key Responsibilities
-
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations to maintain a safe workplace.

Perform preventative maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PDM), corrective maintenance (CM), and general work orders on all plant equipment.

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment including:

Conveyors
-
Industrial machinery
-
Pumps, grinders, fans, and blowers
-
Welding equipment (TIG proficiency required)
-
Lathes and power tools
-
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
-
Packaging and processing equipment
Install new equipment and perform modifications as required.
Accurately document maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards for maintenance.
Manage work requests, apply corrective actions, and maintain accurate labour and inventory records.
Collaborate effectively in a team environment while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications

Valid 433A or 426A Millwright License is required.

Previous experience working as a Millwright in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with both mechanical and electrical systems.

Proficiency with TIG welding.

Full working knowledge of hand and power tools.

Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand for extended periods.

Ability to work in varied conditions (heat, cold, and repetitive tasks).

Minimum 18 years old, legally entitled to work in Canada.

Strong English communication skills (oral and written).

Must supply own tools.
Compensation & Benefits

Hourly wage: $43.50 + $2.00 overnight premium.

$350 annual tool allowance

$175 annual boot allowance
