Network Administrator

We’re inviting applications for an experienced Network Administrator position at one of our esteemed clients who are recognized for their high-standard, cost-effective laundry services. This is a golden opportunity for individuals adept at installation, configuration, operation, and maintaining various network and IT security systems.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Deploy, configure, and maintain network hardware and software: You’ll oversee router, switches, firewalls, and AP’s.
  • Implement security measures: Safeguard network systems from unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
  • Coordinate with vendors: Manage relationships and negotiate deals with vendors and third-party service providers.
  • Assess network capacity: Plan for future scalability and capacity requirements.
  • Develop disaster recovery plans: Play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining disaster recovery procedures.
  • Provide training: Guide IT staff and end-users on best practice and security awareness.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related field, accompanied by 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient experience with Cisco Meraki Management, firewall, switches, AP’s, Wireless deployment, and configuration.
  • Proficient experience in designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing complex network infrastructures.
  • Working knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS) and Network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Wireshark).
  • Exceptional written, oral communication and interpersonal skills. English fluency is a must (French fluency is a plus).

Work Environment:

You’ll work onsite for a 40-hours a week at the corporate head office with occasional travel throughout Canada.
