Neurology Locum Coverage
Job Description
Detail:
The duties will include assessing and managing all neurology consultations from various inpatient units (including ICU, Integrated stroke unit, General medical wards) and from the Emergency department. This includes performing a history and physical examination, ordering relevant investigations (in Epic) and consolidating a thoughtful and evidence-based management plan and documenting your consultation notes in our electronic EMR (Epic). You will be responsible for following up patients during the week of service. There are no MRP (admitting) responsibilities. Hours of service are from 8 am to 5 pm.
Supervision:
Your supervisor will be the Neurologist on call at Lakeridge Health Oshawa and will be available to review cases or help with management.
Min Requirement:
PGY-4 and above in a Neurology residency training program.

Remuneration:
50% of Billing (Fee For Service).

07/01/23.
Call:
Call is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Supervision provided by the Neurologist on-call.
