Permanent Opportunity Location: On site 5 days a week in Burnaby (close to Skytrain) Day to day: Insight Global is looking for a skilled and experienced IT Network Administrator to manage our large, security clients computer systems and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of their data communications systems. The successful candidate will be joining a tightknit, lean team in a fast paced environment. They will not only support day-to-day operations, network and server maintenance, but will also support both internal and external projects. Must HavesProven experience in a network administrator roleHands on experience in networking, routing and switchingExcellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructureExperience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desiredAbility to set up and configure server hardwareFamiliarity with backup and recovery software and methodologiesGreat at organizing, prioritizing and multitaskingBSc degree in Computer Science or related experience.PlussesExperience with CCTV Systems, and/or physical access experience.
