Operational Risk Manager

One Year Contract Position | Candidate can be seated in Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver or Toronto Our client in the Financial Industry is currently seeking a Manager of Risk to join their Risk team in order to cover an upcoming family leave. Our client is open to considering candidates with International Banking experience however you must currently be living in and legally able to work in Canada. During your contract you will be seated on the client’s payroll and will be eligible for benefits as well as their performance bonus program.

You must be able to work MST hours as the Risk team is all housed in the Edmonton office. If you are immediately available, able to commit to a one-year contract and have the skills and experience required, please apply today Responsibilities: Work closely with operations and conduct Risk Control Assessments Perform Loss of Data Collection Identify Key Risk Indicators and perform Scenario based analysis Create finding reports, suggest solutions, improved processes, develop training Special projects as allocated by your upline manager Requirements: Previous Bank Institution experience a must 3 years of risk management experience required Experience with Basel III required Familiarity with OSFI Guideline E-21 an asset Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed 5 years of experience performing RCA’s required CFA, CPA or equivalent required
