We are looking for a positive personality to join our practice and add to our team. Role Description This is a part-time on-site role as an Optometric Assistant at Carrington Optometry in Calgary, AB. The Optometric Assistant will be responsible for assisting the optometrist with optometry-related tasks such as pre-testing, maintaining patient records, and scribing.
The role also involves appointment scheduling, greeting patients, and providing customer service. Qualifications Optometry knowledge Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team Experience in appointment scheduling Excellent customer service skills Comfortable in training and educating patients on eyewear options and lens technology Experience in an optometry or healthcare setting is preferred Diploma or certification in a related field is beneficial
