Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
Start Date: February 1st.
Hourly Rate: $17.60 per hour.
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Evening Cleaner to maintain a professional office environment in Oakville. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, follows cleaning procedures carefully, and can work independently during evening hours.
Due to the nature of this site, successful candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and a credit check as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities:
Entrance / Lobby:
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Vacuum carpeted areas.
- Spot clean entrance doors, window glass, and walls as needed.
- Wipe down all surfaces.
- Clean outdoor entrance mat (weekly).
- Remove garbage and recycling; reline bins.
Offices (Multiple - Lower & Upper Levels):
- Dust ledges, cabinets, blinds, and display shelves.
- Wipe down desks, desk accessories, and chairs.
- Clean windowsills (monthly).
- Sweep and mop hard floors.
- Vacuum carpeted areas.
- Sanitize doorknobs and light switches.
- Remove garbage and recycling; reline bins.
Open Workspaces / Fish Bowl Areas:
- Wipe down desks, desk accessories, and chairs.
- Vacuum carpeted areas.
- Sweep and mop hard floors.
- Spot clean glass, windows, and walls.
- Dust TV screens.
- Sanitize high-touch points.
- Remove garbage and recycling.
Washrooms:
- Clean and sanitize sinks and toilets.
- Polish mirrors and chrome fixtures.
- Wipe down paper towel dispensers and stall partitions.
- Sanitize doorknobs and light switches.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Replenish soap, toilet paper, and paper towels (supplies provided).
- Remove garbage and recycling.
Kitchenettes:
- Clean and sanitize counters and sinks.
- Clean inside and outside of microwaves.
- Wipe exterior of refrigerators.
- Wipe tables, chairs, and cabinet fronts/sides.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Wash, dry, and put away dishes.
- Clean interior of dishwasher and run cleaning cycle (weekly).
- Remove garbage and recycling.
Boardrooms:
- Dust ledges, cabinets, desks, desk accessories, and chairs.
- Clean windowsills (monthly).
- Spot clean windows.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Sanitize doorknobs and light switches.
- Remove garbage and recycling.
Stairwells:
- Sweep and mop stairs.
- Wipe down handrails.
- Dust ledges, corners, and windowsills.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed cleaning checklists.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check.
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required.
