Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office and Excel (preferred) Previous automotive experience (preferred) A criminal record check and driver’s abstract report will be required upon hire_Parts Advisor responsibilities…_ Check in all inbound and outbound orders and shipping requirements Follow all parts check-in processes and accurately receive all daily orders Communicate effectively to customers and staff the nature of vehicle parts and mechanical requests in a professional and courteous manner Assist in all sales channels of the parts department, including answering phones, back counter sales, front counter sales, and wholesale sales Follow-up with work in progress to ensure all parts and service invoices are closed and paid Assist with all manufacturer programs Collaborate with the Service Department for parts availability and issue of parts Determine replacement parts required according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers’ descriptions of malfunctions Prepare orders daily for shipment, delivery, or pick-upGGLJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $46,000.00-$75,000.00 per yearBenefits: Company events Dental care Disability insurance Employee assistance program Extended health care Life insurance Paid time off Store discount Vision careFlexible Language Requirement: French not requiredSchedule: 8 hour shiftLicence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)Work Location: In person
