A large, private company with an extensive track record of success over the past 40 years is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator at our head office in Delta. You will be the go-to person for all matters related to our employees, providing guidance and leadership to further our growth.Responsibilities Hands-on payroll process using Payworks for administrative staff Supervision of hourly payroll staff and benefits Acting as liaison for hiring, WCB matters, administration of the Group RRSP program, profit sharing and ensuring legal compliance Maintaining and reconciling all benefit records, such as enrolments and terminations Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other issues Supporting current and future business growth by strategic hiring, development of progressive HR policies, tactics and preservation of human capitalRequirements 3-5 years experience hands-on experience with Payworks or related software Strong computer skills (Excel, Word) Knowledge of inter-provincial regulatory requirements in BC, Alberta and Manitoba Excellent communication skills and positive approach to employee relations as well as a team player Professional designations which may include Certified Payroll Manager, Certified Human Resources Professional, Certified Human Resources Leader or related designations with experience would be considered assetsWe offer: Competitive wages and an extensive benefit package including employer paid benefits Profit sharing, Group RRSP program and Fitness Allowance programs An exciting and challenging work environmentWe thank all applicants for their interest however only short-listed applicants will be contacted.
