Personal Care Attendant – Home Care Job Details Location: SW Edmonton – Keswick Neighborhood, Edmonton, Alberta Salary: $20. 00 per hour for 12 hours/week – possibility of more hours Hours: 8:30am – 3:00pm Days of Work: Flexible Start Date: Immediate Employment: Permanent Overview Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Experience: Care worker experience an asset. Ability & suitability will be assessed.

Drivers Licence: Valid Class 5 licence required. Worksite Environment: Non-smoking Work Setting: – Work in employer’s/client’s home. – Client’s home is in the new Keswick Neighborhood, Edmonton. Bus service is limited.

Must have reliable transportation to client’s home. Responsibilities Tasks – Assist client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, dressing. – Assist in regular exercise, eg. walk, gym – Launder client’s clothing & linens – Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties in client’s bathroom, bedroom and kitchen.

– Plan, prepare and serve nutritious breakfast & lunch. – Assist making routine appoints. – Transport client to/from appointments, gym, etc. – Plan activities.

Security & Safety – Criminal record check. – References required. – First Aid with AED Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities – Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
