About Us Founded in 2019, Rx Connect Specialty Pharmacy is a proud Canadian company, comprised of healthcare professionals with extensive specialty medication experience with a location in Mississauga, Ontario and another in Calgary, Alberta. We mainly deal with patients who require biologics/specialty medications used in the treatment of chronic medical conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, urticaria, ulcerative colitis, and many others.

We utilize innovative strategies to deliver patients access to specialized therapy in a cost-effective, timely and caring manner leading to improved adherence, therapeutic success and overall well-being. Job Description We are looking for a pharmacist with strong communication and leadership skills to join our newly forming team in Regina.

You will be responsible for maintaining safe, effective and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical prescriptions. The Pharmacy Manager will report directly to the Director of Specialty Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Manager is an integral member of the pharmacy team and works with the Senior Manager and the Director in the overall compliance, operations, management, and planning of pharmacy services.

A significant role of the Pharmacy Manager is the inter-departmental collaboration on projects with Specialty Services, Consulting, Patient Support Programs, and Distribution. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensuring that all prescriptions are dispensed in accordance with provincial regulations, standards of practice and company policies Providing a high level of pharmaceutical care for patients: patient/prescription assessment, patient counselling, injection training Developing and maintaining relationships with patients and health care providers Optimizing dispensary processes Support, coach and co-ordinate activities of pharmacy technician and assistants Other special projects as assigned by management What you bring to the organization: Pharmacist in good standing with the College of Pharmacists (Part of the Public Register) Injection Training required Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a pharmacy environment Kroll experience preferred Excellent communication skills and documentation practices Experience in dispensing of biologics/biosimilars/specialty medications Strong understanding of third-party billing Ability to organize time, set priorities and multi-task in order to meet various competing work deadlines Maintaining the utmost integrity and having passion towards pharmaceutical operations.
