Photography Coach (Contract)

Company Description Learn Photography Canada specializes in providing small group, in-person, hands-on and interactive photography classes for photographers looking to improve their skills. With coaches currently in Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Kitchener/Waterloo, Toronto, Mississauga, Hamilton, Burlington & Ottawa we offer experiences for our students that also have them explore the iconic and fun landmarks / hidden photographic gems of their city and region. We are currently looking to expand our services to Regina and looking for a coach who loves working with people, helping them grow while also earning some side income.

Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Photography Coach at Learn Photography Canada. The Photography Coach will be responsible for providing caring guidance and support to our students who range from Beginner photographers to those seeking full certification. You will be leading in-person, hands-on, small group or private photography classes, and helping students unleash their potential in photography.

Classes range from 3 – 6 hours depending on class size and cover a number of photography topics including Beginner photography, Motion & Light, Landscape & Travel, People Photography, Night Photography & Adobe Lightroom Editing. Qualifications Photography skills, including composition and lighting techniques Experience in teaching or coaching photography Knowledge of different camera types and editing software Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to students Organizational skills and attention to detail Passion for photography and helping others improve their skills Photography certification or relevant education is a plus
