Our expectations:
The Facilities Cleaner will primarily work within the warehouse to ensure a clean working environment. This will be done with both manual equipment and through the operation of various powered equipment (i.e. walk behind/ ride-on tenant floor scrubber/cleaner, forklift, etc.)
Shift:
Varies (day, evening, night)
Your role:
Assist with the keeping of the warehouse in clean and orderly condition by emptying garbage receptacles, operating the push behind scrubber, and managing the empty skids
Dust and clean racks as required
Operate the shrink wrap compactor, garbage compactor, and cardboard compactor
Ensure the prompt and efficient cleaning of spills following the appropriate spill guidelines for the specific product
Carry out all tasks while respecting the health and safety protocols
Performs other duties as directed by the Manager, Operations
The qualifications we are looking for :
Excellent communication skills
Ability to interact positively with co-workers and management staff
Teamwork spirit
Ability to work with mobile equipment
Knowledge regarding safety, including the proper handling procedures for cleaning products
Attention to detail and strong initiative
