Overview:
We are seeking a UDP – Registered Advising Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to assist customers effectively.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Ultimate Designated Person (UDP) – Registered Advising Representative. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supervising AAR on investment strategies.
As the Hedge Fund UDP – Registered Advising Representative, you will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s adherence to regulatory standards, ensuring the integrity of our investment advice, and acting as the ultimate designated person within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those set by securities regulators and governing bodies.
- Supervision: Provide supervision on investment strategies and portfolio management, ensuring alignment with client objectives and market opportunities.
- Leadership: Act as the Ultimate Designated Person (UDP) within the firm, assuming responsibility for the firm’s compliance culture and practices.
- Capital raising: 1% bonus for capital raising
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Certifications: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation is required. Previously registered with BCSC as an advising representative.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment management.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledgable of regulatory requirements for hedge funds and experience in a compliance-focused role.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management abilities, with experience in a senior compliance or advisory role.
