Program Director, Zero Trust Start Date July 02, 2024, and last 24 months with the possibility of extension. Vancouver, BC QUALIFICATIONS The successful Candidate is required to meet the following minimum qualifications and experience Current or former Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), VP, or Senior Cyber Security Director Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-dollar annual cyber security budgets. Proven experience leading large-scale cybersecurity projects, with budgets in the tens of millions of dollars.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, including roles in management and senior leadership. Extensive experience in implementing and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Security Operations, and IT Disaster Recovery. Availability to work in the BC time zone (PST) and travel as needed.

Experience managing and growing cybersecurity teams PREFERRED SKILLS Public sector experience is highly desirable. Deep understanding of ISO 27002, NIST CSF, and COBIT frameworks. Proven track record of achieving high adoption rates for cybersecurity initiatives (e.g., Multifactor Authentication).

Strong project management skills, including delivering projects on time and under budget. Experience with regulatory compliance, such as PCI DSS and SOC audits. Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership, audit committees, and risk management committees.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. Certifications such as CISSP or CISM The successful candidate will: Lead cross-functional teams to implement zero-trust technologies and processes in alignment with the organization’s Zero-Trust strategy. Oversee the program budget and the vendor relationships for key vendors who are supporting the implementation of Zero-Trust.

Manage and mitigate risks associated with the implementation of the program. Lead organizational change management and training programs to promote a culture of security and the adoption of zero-trust security principles. Preparing and participating in executive and board presentations with updates and regular reporting on the Zero Trust program Ensure continuous improvement and alignment with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.
