Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial aspects of high-rise construction projects, including cost tracking, budgeting, and reporting.
• Prepare and analyze project financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor project costs and provide updates to project managers to ensure budgets are maintained.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast expenses, track project progress, and identify financial risks.
• Ensure all accounting and reporting activities comply with company policies and CPA standards.
• Assist with audits, including preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, invoices, and subcontractor payments.

Skills and Experience:

• Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, cost control, and financial reporting.
• CPA Designation: Must have completed CPA designation to be considered.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with project managers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a project accountant or in construction finance.
• Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
