As we embark on our latest project, a 6-storey wood-frame building on Main Street, we seek a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead this $23 million project to successful completion.

Job Overview: We are looking for a Project Manager with a proven track record in managing large-scale wood-frame construction projects. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, and the ability to manage all project aspects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities: • Project Planning and Management: Oversee all phases of the project, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, and quality standards. • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication. • Budget Management: Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation. • Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of construction are maintained. • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction. • Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies. • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in wood-frame construction projects. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is an asset. • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices. • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate and resolve issues promptly and effectively. • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
