Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of institutional and commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
Coordinate with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance
Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, change orders, and payments
Monitor site progress in collaboration with the Site Superintendent
Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and company policies
Lead project meetings and provide regular reporting to senior management
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor
Experience delivering institutional and/or commercial projects
Strong understanding of construction contracts, schedules, and cost control
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
