Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of institutional and commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout

  • Coordinate with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cash flow forecasts

  • Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance

  • Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, change orders, and payments

  • Monitor site progress in collaboration with the Site Superintendent

  • Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and company policies

  • Lead project meetings and provide regular reporting to senior management

  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor

  • Experience delivering institutional and/or commercial projects

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, schedules, and cost control

  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
