The Role
As a Project Manager at Honomobo, you’ll guide customers through each phase of their modular build-from early design and zoning reviews, through engineering, production, and on-site delivery. You’ll serve as the central point of communication between clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors. Your job is to ensure every project moves smoothly, stays on budget, and results in a home our clients are proud of.
This is a dynamic, Edmonton-based role that requires clear communication, logistical oversight, and strong problem-solving skills. Brief travel to project sites across North America may be required for certain projects.
What You’ll Do
- Manage residential modular home projects from signed contract to post-installation support
- Act as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with internal teams: Sales, Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Installation
- Track permitting, zoning, and regulatory milestones with local authorities
- Coordinate external vendors (surveyors, engineers, transport companies, trades)
- Lead project reviews (pre-IFC, manufacturing readiness, and install prep)
- Monitor budgets, manage change orders, and support invoicing
- Identify risks or issues early and develop solutions to stay on track
- Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date
- Conduct site reviews, client walkthroughs, and warranty hand-offs
Who You Are
- 3+ years experience in project management (residential, commercial, modular or prefab preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of permitting, zoning, and construction coordination
- Excellent communicator who can build trust with clients and collaborate across departments
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Confident juggling multiple projects at once with shifting priorities
- Proficient with project management and scheduling tools (e.g., Wrike, Prostruct, Buildertrend, MS Project, or similar)
- Valid driver’s license and passport, and ability to visit project sites across North America.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with modular or off-site construction
- Technical background in design, architecture, or engineering
- PMP certification or construction management training
