Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team in Calgary SW. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to clients. You will play a vital role in promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being through personalized massage therapy sessions.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to meet individual patient needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on their health history and preferences.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients regarding their treatment goals and progress.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients before, during, and after their sessions.
- Have a reliable vehicle for traveling to senior care communities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.
- Document patient treatments accurately within an online booking system using medical terminology as necessary for record-keeping purposes.
- Submit monthly invoicing.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the practice.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with certification from an accredited institution.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs.
- The ability to keep concise SOAP notes.
- Experience working with seniors is an asset.
- A passion for holistic health and wellness, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
