As we modernize and enhance our operational infrastructure, we&#39;re seeking a Reconciliation Administrator who brings both reconciliation expertise and technology-driven thinking to the table. This is a unique opportunity to help transform our reconciliation function while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.<br><br>This individual will be part of a small but highly collaborative team responsible for cash and asset reconciliation while also supporting the design and implementation of our next-generation reconciliation platform and Target Operating Model (TOM). Standard working hours for this role is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM EST, subject to change based on business needs.</p><p><strong>WHAT YOU WILL DO</strong></p><p>Core Reconciliation Duties</p><ul><li>Perform daily cash and asset reconciliations, aligning our book of records with banks, custodians, depositories (e.g., CDS/DTC), and counterparties.</li><li>Investigate, resolve, and escalate reconciliation breaks to minimize risk and ensure accuracy.</li><li>Monitor and analyze exception trends, working proactively with internal and external stakeholders to address root causes.</li><li>Build and maintain reconciliation workflows using DUCO.</li></ul><p>Platform & Process Enhancement</p><ul><li>Support the implementation and testing of a new reconciliation platform.</li><li>Participate in the rollout of a new Target Operating Model (TOM), defining roles, responsibilities, and control checkpoints.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and control.</li></ul><p>Reporting & Metrics</p><ul><li>Help prepare reconciliation dashboards and KPIs for management reporting.</li><li>Track performance metrics, exception volumes, and root-cause resolutions.</li></ul><p><strong>WHAT YOU WILL NEED</strong></p><p>Education & Experience</p><ul><li>2-5 years of experience in reconciliations, financial operations, or data analytics in a financial services environment.</li><li>Hands-on experience using DUCO or similar reconciliation platforms (highly preferred).</li><li>Exposure to depository systems like CDS/DTC is an asset.</li></ul><p>Technical & Analytical Skills</p><ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Proficiency in Excel (advanced), with VBA an asset.</li><li>Familiarity with machine learning frameworks or robotic process automation (RPA) is a plus.</li></ul><p>Soft Skills</p><ul><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.</li><li>Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.</li><li>Adaptable to change and excited by technology-driven transformation.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science</li></ul><p>CI Financial is an independent company offering global wealth management and asset management advisory services through diverse financial services firms. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $34,320 to $58,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program.
