Regional Operations Manager

With a commitment to exceptional service and culinary excellence, OEB Breakfast Co has established itself as a destination for brunchgoers. This a Vancouver-based position working for OEB Breakfast Co. Head Office supporting and developing a territory of OEB franchise locations.

General Responsibilities The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for directing the activities of all OEB outlets within their territory according to the policies and procedures of OEB Breakfast Co. Inc. Advises the Director of Restaurant Operations of matters affecting operations and recommends policies and procedures.

Act as liaison for suppliers and vendors within their region. Work directly with the marketing department and stores in their region to communicate marketing initiates and develop short and long-term marketing plans Maintains and promotes positive business relationships with Restaurant Partners as well as outside agencies. Personally Performed Responsibilities Assists with establishing, and implementing approved regional operations goals and budgets.

Monitors results of individual outlets with the region as well the region as a whole, comparing results to budgeted costs and creating action plans when necessary. Informs the Director of Restaurant Operations of operating results, methods and problems. Maintains positive relationships with landlords, outside agencies and suppliers to coordinate issues on behalf of the company.

Coordinates marketing initiatives and special promotions with the region according to the guidelines and instructions of the marketing department. Determines a weekly plan for their region. Schedules conducts and/or ensures that regional meetings are in coordination with company guidelines.

Handles employee and customer concerns as needed. Schedules and performs store reviews within the territory and determines action plans when necessary. Prepares written reports on visits to outlets.

Investigate and resolve supply/vendor problems concerning restaurants within their territory. Writes and distributes regional communications as required. Maintains regional calendar and responsibilities for any stores directly under their supervision.

Performs other duties as assigned. New restaurant openings Delegated Responsibilities Operational and administrative duties as stated in the Regional Operations Manager job description. Administrative and support responsibilities as outlined in the job descriptions of Head Office Operations Personnel in the territory.

Education and Experience Sufficient knowledge of the Restaurant industry and regional operations to select, train and direct all regional personnel and to make operating decisions. Business Administration Diploma or equivalent experience. At least one 2 years of experience in Multi-Unit operations.

Working Conditions Working in OEB Outlets Early mornings Weekend work Occasional office work required This position requires travel Schedules can change with short notice, flexibility is required. OEB Locations are open from 7-3 daily. Early mornings are required and weekends as needed.

Little to no evening work is required.
