ProTemps has a dynamic job opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager with at least 5+ years of experience dealing in the Tire Industry. This is a full-time positions that involves traveling from BC, to AB, to SK by vehicle or plane. The hours would be from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with possible after hours as well. The starting salary would be Negotiable ($78-80,000/yr) plus commissions
As a part of the Sales team, customer management, product presentation, pricing negotiations and customer service duties, there are more responsibilities required but not limited to:
- Develop new retail customers in BC to increase PCR?LTR stock sales (ideally and most beneficial that he/she lives in the Greater Vancouver area in BC) to conduct sales calls, Be willing to go on the road or by plane to grow and develop their retail customers in AB and SK
- Retain and Grow our regions in BC, AB, and SK and wholesalers
- Analyze customers and market conditions to provide management with data about market trends, competitive products, pricing, promotions and programs
- Identify opportunities and market new product lines through customer needs analysis and knowledge of competitor products
- Build and increase the strong relationships with our customers by visiting their store level
- Training and educating the dealers/counter staff about our products
- Travel to all three provinces frequently to provide services to customers
- Daily reporting/weekly schedule set up and shares
- Monthly/weekly forecasting and take action to meet the target
- Forge business partnerships with key accounts and coordinate product sales and training with each account in respective regions
- Drive incremental sales for product with focus on retail sell out
- Effectively manage regions through prioritization and maximum efficiency to ensure that corporate objectives, including established call frequencies and individual objectives are met
- Develop and maintain regional business plan and plan calls accordingly
- Achieve assigned sales targets in assigned regions and accounts
- Participate in sales meetings, product and training meetings and new account development at target dealers
- Identify opportunities for new product lines
- Conduct market intelligence to ensure sell out pricing in retail markets
- Manage and resolve all operational and administrative issues that occur with the assigned region, such as billing errors, shipping errors, and other claim issues
- Respond to all inquiries, both internal and external, on a timely basis; prepare monthly planners and expense reports; prepare routine and special reports as required by management; and maintain a professional image
- Designing and presenting timely pricing programs that meet the market demands and sales objectives of the company
Job Qualifications
- The ideal candidate should have 5+ years sales and account management experience with PCR/LTR TBR tire manufacturer or dealer experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Leadership and strategic thinking skills
- Proven relationship development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all corporate levels
- Ability and willingness to travel all over 70%
- Proven advanced computer skills in all MS applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
