The hospital is situated in the Saanich Peninsula, a scenic region known for its natural beauty and coastal landscapes. The hospital serves over 114,000 residents of Saanich, Central Saanich, North Saanich, and surrounding areas, providing essential health care services in this picturesque region.   The District of Saanich lies within the territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples represented by the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations and the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples represented by the Tsartlip, Pauquachin, Tsawout, Tseycum and Malahat Nations. (Saanich)  Relocation assistance may be available for eligible positions. These positions may also qualify for the Federal Loan Forgiveness program BCCNM Registration fees may be paid for by Island Health.   The Role Reports to the Nurse Manager, Department Head, or designate.

Plans and provides direct nursing care to patients/residents in the hospital or in the community in accordance with the unit/program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and the CRNBC Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia.   Qualifications Education, Training, and Experience Current, practicing membership with BC College of Nurses and Midwives or the ability to obtain/transfer license to BC.
