Registered Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Rexall, you will play a vital role in delivering excellence in patient care, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate processing of patient records retention.
• Assist the Pharmacist with prescription preparation, packaging, and distribution.
• Evaluate legality, interpret, and input prescriptions, labels, and consent forms into the pharmacy’s computer system.
• Maintain up-to-date patient information and complete documentation, including third-party management and reconciliation, patient files, and printing reports.
• Support the pharmacy team with inventory management and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

• Pharmacy Technician Diploma or Bridging program from an accredited College (Required).
• Successful completion of the PEBC Qualifying exam (Required).
• Compounding experience (Required).
• Membership in good standing with the provincial College of Pharmacists (e.g. O.C.P.) (Required).
• 1 year continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment.
• Proficient computer knowledge and skills; Windows proficiency required.
