Our downtown Calgary client is a leader in the commercial real estate industry and they are seeking a skilled Research Coordinator This person will be responsible for researching and gathering various forms of market intelligence in order to assist with commercial broker presentations. Responsibilities:
  • Collect and maintain market information by sourcing information from relevant channels and enter into the existing database.
  • Compile and verify market statistics, monitor, and track trends, updating and enhancing current projects as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver periodic research publications on the real estate market by creating presentations and market reports.
  • Participate actively in sales and research meetings and engage with industry professionals by attending ongoing industry events.
  • Monitor industry trends and current events to inform and enhance ongoing research initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Data team to resolve data issues, ensuring compliance and maintaining accuracy.

Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in related field, Real Estate or Urban Land would be ideal.
  • 2+ years research experience in an office environment.
  • Understanding and/or genuine interest in the commercial real estate industry would be well-regarded.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
  • Strong writing and research skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within a team environment.
  • Able to work in a fast- paced, dynamic environment, executing on competing deadlines with exceptional quality and attention to detail.
  • Able to draw conclusions from data collected, think critically and outside of the box.
