The consultant will play a critical role in supporting an <b>interface-heavy project</b>, with a strong focus on <b>testing and validation</b> between SAP and an external application used for inventory tracking for regulatory reasons.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of the <b>Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle</b>, hands-on testing experience, and the ability to generate and manage test data for various <b>movement types in SAP SD</b>.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Work closely with business and technical teams to validate <b>interfaces between SAP SD and external applications</b>.</li><li>Execute <b>test planning, test execution, and validation</b> activities for end-to-end OTC scenarios.</li><li>Generate and manage <b>test data</b> for different <b>movement types</b> in SAP.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and ensure accurate data flow across systems.</li><li>Document test results, defects, and resolutions, ensuring compliance with project quality standards.</li><li>Provide functional expertise on <b>SD configuration and OTC cycle processes</b>.</li><li>Support knowledge transfer and handover to internal teams post-deployment.</li></ul><p><b>Required Skills & Experience</b></p><ul><li><b>3–6 years</b> of hands-on SAP SD functional experience.</li><li>Strong understanding of the <b>OTC cycle (Sales, Delivery, Billing, Invoicing)</b>.</li><li>Proven experience with <b>interface testing and validation</b> in SAP projects.</li><li>Ability to <b>generate test data</b> for different movement types in SAP.</li><li>Good understanding of <b>master data</b> related to SD (customers, materials, pricing, etc.).</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</li></ul><p><b>Nice to Have</b></p><ul><li>Prior experience in <b>integration projects</b> with external applications.</li><li>Knowledge of <b>IDocs, middleware, or interface monitoring tools</b>.</li><li>Exposure to working in <b>regulated industries</b> (life sciences, pharma, etc.) would be an advantage.</li></ul><p></p>
