As a Senior Civil Engineer you will be:

  1. Utilizing your skill set to complete civil engineering designs for scopes on industrial projects including:
    1. Plant site development earthworks stormwater pond design
    2. Site drainage and stormwater management
    3. Roadwork layout and design
    4. Rough grade and finished grade design
    5. Temporary facilities design
    6. Underground utilities

  2. Preparing and self-checking engineering calculations by hand and using computer software.
  3. Preparing drawing markups for Designer, backchecking, and ready for project issue.
  4. Developing and reviewing project specifications, including design criteria.
  5. Developing and reviewing material estimates and schedules, progress reports, and effort-hour estimates.
  6. Establishing, tracking, and monitoring material key quantities; providing analysis and forecasts.
  7. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop/deliver cost-effective and constructible designs.
  8. Able to lead a Civil design team on a project.
  9. Checking 2D design drawings and 3D models.
  10. Participating in procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities.
  11. Completing other tasks as assigned.
