Location : Remote in Canada

Hourly Rate:
$45-60/hour
Required Skill s:
7-10 years of experience as a Senior Cognos Developer, preferably in a public sector environment or large business with over 1000 users and I&IT transformation projects
Hands-on expertise in writing Cognos reports and SQL queries

You will be working with a leading global technology and consulting firm supporting a major public sector client in the healthcare domain. This client is focused on delivering innovative case management solutions to improve healthcare services.
Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Cognos Developer to join the MCCSS project as an Application Developer for Healthcare Applications. In this role, you will translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications, develop detailed programming specifications, write and generate code, and compile data-driven programs. You will be involved in large-scale implementations and work on enhancing, configuring, customizing, and integrating the case management system with external or related applications.
What you’ll need to succeed
7-10 years of experience as a Senior Cognos Developer, preferably in a public sector environment or large business with over 1000 users and I&IT transformation projects
Hands-on expertise in writing Cognos reports and SQL queries
Proven experience in large-scale Cognos implementations, including conducting requirements elicitation, fit-gap analysis, design, and development phases
Technical skills to enhance and integrate case management systems with other applications
Strong ability to translate technical specifications into functional applications and tested code
