Work in a flexible hybrid model at London, Kitchener, or Kingston offices.</p><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Generous base salary, annual bonus, profit sharing, comprehensive benefits, RRSP matching program</li><li>A supportive, inclusive and dynamic team with ample room for advancement</li><li>Excellent company culture with many social events, sports teams, and recognition programs</li><li>Flexible hybrid work environment</li><li>Paid travel expenses*</li><li>Additional perks like summer work hours, Costco Memberships</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Review and professionally stamp electrical designs for projects of all sizes and complexities.</li><li>Lead electrical design strategies and concepts for complex projects, including:</li><li>Power distribution and generation systems</li><li>Indoor/outdoor lighting and lighting controls</li><li>Fire alarm systems</li><li>Voice/data communications, security/CCTV, public address, nurse call, and related low‑voltage infrastructure</li><li>Provide technical leadership and guidance to the electrical engineering team.</li><li>Lead audits, feasibility studies, and investigations, and prepare detailed technical reports.</li><li>Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of electrical design standards, processes, and best practices.</li><li>Mentor and support intermediate and junior engineers and designers, fostering professional growth within the team.</li><li>Troubleshoot construction challenges and work collaboratively to develop effective solutions.</li><li>Coordinate with clients, contractors, sales representatives, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication and accurate project documentation.</li><li>Participate in site reviews, construction phase services, and field assessments.</li><li>Perform additional related duties as required.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Post‑secondary education in Electrical Engineering. P. Eng designation is required.</li><li>A minimum of 10 years of progressive, relevant work experience.</li><li>5 + years of design experience for complex fire alarm and electrical systems in multi‑unit residential, healthcare, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.</li><li>Substantial exposure to troubleshooting on‑site control issues.</li><li>Medium and/or high voltage system design experience is an asset but not required.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of codes and standards, including OBC, ASHRAE, CSA, and ASPE.</li><li>Design experience across multiple industries: commercial, industrial, educational, multi‑unit residential, healthcare, and government.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work collaboratively and strategically with internal and external partners.</li><li>Proven ability to multitask and deliver quality work within defined deadlines; strong organizational, time‑management, and decision‑making skills.</li></ul></p>#J-18808-Ljbffr
