The position may include complete or partial responsibility of the following assignments:

  • Execute all electrical engineering activities of project
  • Lead a team of engineers and designers to independently execute EPC type projects.
  • Prepare engineering manpower estimates and schedules.
  • Review/ Prepare design calculation like cable sizing, lighting calculation, transformer/ DG sizing verification.
  • Review/ Prepare electrical deliverables like one-line diagrams, diagrams, schematics, interconnection drawings, equipment layouts, cable schedules, panel schedules, Hazardous area classification, power, grounding and lighting layouts for construction or installation of new or modification of existing electrical system facilities.

  • Review/ Perform Electrical System Studies such as load flow, Short Circuit Analysis, Relay Coordination, Arc-Flash Studies in ETAP/SKM,
  • Develop/ Check equipment specifications, technical bid tabs, review vendor drawings and factory acceptance testing electrical equipment
  • Participate in design related coordination with other disciplines within BMI & US office
  • Perform thorough Quality review of produced drawings for a variety of projects and project-related data
  • Responsible for QA/QC process adherence
  • Develop/ Check equipment specifications, technical bid tabs, review vendor drawings and factory acceptance testing electrical equipment
  • Participate in design related coordination with other disciplines within offices
  • Perform thorough Quality review of produced drawings for a variety of projects and project-related data
  • Responsible for QA/QC process adherence

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/engineering from a recognized university

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8years of related experience (completion of master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of experience)
  • Experience of executing projects based on a NEC, ANSI/NEMA, NFPA, IEEE and other international codes and standards.
  • SPEL experience is preferred.
  • Field construction and commissioning experience is preferred.

  • Must be having Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Capability of solving complex problems that require adaptation and modification of standard approaches, techniques, procedures, and criteria’s
  • Provide leadership, training and mentoring to less experienced engineers and team members.
