Key Responsibilities Participate and oversee the development of design concept direction through implementation into subsequent production and construction stages. Communicate closely with the senior leadership to implement the team vision while working independently on a day-to-day basis.

Develop modern design concepts, graphics and presentation materials as required. Implement technical design and drawing production while keeping current in global design trends and issues. Collaborate with other design disciplines within the Toronto studio as well as other BH studios globally.

Provide mentoring to promote succession for junior and intermediate team members. Skills and knowledge: Proficiency in CAD drafting. Proficiency in presentation graphics software, including Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Proficiency in 3-D modeling programs such as Sketch Up and Rhino. Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong graphic communication skills Experience with grading, construction materials and detailing Position Requirements University degree in Landscape Architecture, preferably at the graduate level. Licensed Landscape Architect in Ontario (or eligible for registration). 8-12 years of experience in the professional field, including project management experience with international design practice.

Strong design conceptualization skills and graphic production skills including 2D and 3D computer rendering. Proficiency in presentation graphics software, including Photoshop, and Illustrator. Proficiency in drafting using Revit or AutoCAD.

Strong conceptual design knowledge, with strong graphic communication skills including development of hand sketches. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to communicate effectively with a geographically and ethnically diverse team.

Strong and positive leadership and interpersonal qualities. Working knowledge of local construction industry and plant materials. Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Detail oriented, efficient, adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities, and work well collaboratively. Evidence of a genuine passion for landscape architecture, public spaces and the natural environment.
