Senior Power Apps Developer

Position Description :

This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Power Automate. The position involves automating workflows, integrating solutions with Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse), and ensuring compliance with government security and accessibility standards. Additional responsibilities include stakeholder collaboration, conducting workshops, and supporting governance and maintenance of Power Platform solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Power Automate flows.


• Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365 services like SharePoint, Teams, and Dataverse.

Process Automation

• Automate manual workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.


• Build scalable, secure flows that comply with government data‑handling standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business units, analysts, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


• Provide demos and prototypes to validate concepts with stakeholders.

Governance and Compliance

• Ensure solutions adhere to government security, privacy, and accessibility standards.


• Implement governance frameworks to manage citizen development and app lifecycle.

Conduct Workshops and Training Sessions

• Lead hands‑on workshops and training programs for government staff to promote adoption of Power Platform tools.


• Tailor sessions for both technical and non‑technical audiences to build internal capability and reduce reliance on external vendors.

Support and Maintenance

• Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for deployed apps and flows.


• Maintain documentation and change logs for audit and compliance purposes.

Develop Learning Materials and Best Practices

• Create documentation tutorials and internal guides to support ongoing learning and onboarding.


• Share best practices for app development, automation, and governance to ensure consistency and quality across the department.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

• 8 years of experience in IT Industry.


• 4 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform.


• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals candidate is highly desired (not mandatory).


• Experience working with the Public Sector is highly desired (not mandatory).


• Familiarity with public sector procurement, data residency, and accessibility requirements.


• Experience working within a Center of Excellence (CoE) or governance model for Power Platform.


• Ability to navigate bureaucratic structures and align solutions with strategic goals.
