We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the growing team in the Vancouver office, responsible for taking the lead on the delivery of some significant structural builds. The Role As Senior Project Manager your role will draw extensively on your ability to lead medium to large design and build contracts through to practical completion. Providing project management expertise, you will more specifically be responsible for: Providing project leadership and direct management to a team of project managers and contractors of varying levels, across the full project lifecycle Managing clients’ expectations and influencing their key decisions Contract management covering both client and multiple contractors Predicting future project requirements and challenges to ensure all project milestones are met Driving all project control activities from a client-side perspective such as start-up quality plans and close-out procedures, health and safety and milestone quality assurance reviews Actively monitoring the financial performance of the project delivery.

Your Background A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in construction/engineering or a discipline complimentary to project management Proven senior project management experience in construction management &/or consultancy Demonstrated experience and success independently leading and managing teams and medium-large sized projects Experience in the construction of medium – large projects such as prisons, airports, healthcare or education facilities would be beneficial.
